Depending on your relationship with us, we may process the following categories of data:

• Identification data: name, surname, ID card/passport, date of birth.
• Contact details: telephone, email, postal address.
• Driving licence details: number, category, date of issue and seniority.
• Payment data: details of the bank card provided for payment of the rental and management of the deposit (processed through secure payment platforms; we do not store the full card number in our own systems).
• Booking and contract data: rental dates, vehicle or motorcycle rented, pick-up and return location, extras contracted.
• Visual records: photographs and/or video of the vehicle at handover and return, as evidence of its condition, mileage and fuel level (in accordance with our General Terms).
• Browsing data: IP address, browser type and pages visited when you use our website (see section 8, Cookies).

• To manage the booking and formalise the vehicle or motorcycle rental agreement.
• To verify compliance with the legal driver requirements (age, seniority and category of driving licence).
• To manage the collection of the rental, the deposit and, where applicable, charges arising from fines, damage, extraordinary cleaning or outstanding fuel, in accordance with the card charge authorisation accepted in the agreement.
• To comply with the legal and tax obligations arising from the activity (invoicing, accounting, communications to law enforcement in the event of an accident or driver identification in the event of a penalty).
• To handle customer enquiries, incidents and complaints.
• To send commercial communications related to our services, only where the Customer has given express consent.

• Performance of a contract: for the management of the booking, the rental and the associated payment (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Compliance with a legal obligation: for the retention of invoices and documentation required by tax and traffic regulations (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
• Legitimate interest of the controller: for fraud prevention, incident management and the claiming of damages or outstanding charges (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• Consent of the data subject: for sending commercial communications or the use of non-essential cookies (art. 6.1.a GDPR), revocable at any time.

Personal data will be kept for as long as necessary to manage the contractual relationship and, thereafter, for the legally applicable limitation periods (as a general rule, up to 6 years for tax and accounting purposes under the Commercial Code, and up to 5 years for possible civil claims). Images and videos of the vehicle's condition are kept for the period necessary to resolve possible incidents or claims arising from the rental, and are deleted once that period has elapsed without incident.

Your data will not be disclosed to third parties except in the following cases:

• To public administrations, law enforcement and traffic authorities, where there is a legal obligation (accidents, fines, court orders).
• To banks and payment platforms, for the management of the rental payment and the deposit.
• To the vehicle's insurance company, in the event of an accident or claim.
• To technology providers that provide management, automation or web hosting services on our behalf (data processors), with whom we maintain the corresponding confidentiality agreements under art. 28 GDPR.

No international transfers of data outside the European Economic Area are made, unless the technology provider used has the appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR.

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase your data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
• Object to the processing of your data.
• Request restriction of processing in certain cases.
• Request portability of your data.
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

You may exercise these rights by writing to hola@rentacarterreros.com, attaching a copy of your ID or equivalent document. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency ( www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with current regulations.
